I am an African American. One of 25 African American men who are members of the Catholic religious order, the Society of Jesus, in the United States. I am sixty eight years old. I am a member of the Catholic Charismatic community, a blogger for the Tacoma News Tribune, In Your Neighborhood blog spot, a hospital chaplain who works two days a week at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tacoma, a priest presenter in World Wide Marriage Encounter and for the next few years a team member with a couple who live in Portland Oregon whose function is to support the Marriage Encounter Communities in Alaska, Montanna, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. (lots of traveling)... I have three goals: to speak and write the truth in relationship to racial, gender, and economic issue; to support others in becoming physically, emotionally, and spiritually healthy, and to become a healthy human being.,

Avocational Interests: Music, Arts, Hobbies, Sports, Family, Etc.

Reading aloud, studying, and writing poetry; watching mystery, adventure, and horror films, listening to jazz, rhythm and blues, Black gospel music, and classical music... I absolutely worship Aretha Franklin... and I love to read history from the ethnic, feminist, and socio/economic perspective... and I am passionately in love with the Bible... have just finished reading Isaiah/Jeremiah, am wending my way through the Epistles of Paul, and focused on the healing power as understood from the perspective of the communities that first followed Jesus
